How can we help?

How the app works, step by step, and answers to the usual questions. Search, pick a topic, or write to us at the bottom of the page.

Start here: the app in four steps

Add a receipt

  1. Tap + in the middle of the bottom bar.
  2. Take a photo, choose photos or a PDF, or forward the e-receipt to your own address.
  3. Wait a few seconds while every line is read.

Common questions

How do I add a receipt?

Tap + and take a photo, or choose photos or a PDF. The shop, the date, every line and the total are read; check them and tap Save.

A long receipt doesn't fit in one photo

Shoot it in parts that overlap a little, up to 10 photos. A line caught in two photos is counted once.

How do I forward an e-receipt?

Settings shows your own forwarding address. Forward the shop's email there from your account's address and the receipt appears a minute later — up to 20 a day.

In the app:Settings › Receipts by email#

The total doesn't match the lines

Usually a discount was missed: tap “Add the discount” and it is spread over the lines. If a line is missing, open the receipt and fix it. A discount not printed on the receipt at all is added from the receipt too.

A purchase without a receipt

On the + screen choose “No receipt” and type what, when and how much. It counts like any receipt.

In the app:+ › No receipt#

How many receipts can I add?

Reading a receipt costs a model call, so the free plan reads 10 a month; the count is on the + screen and in Settings. Expenses typed in by hand never count.

A receipt in another currency

It is converted into your account's currency at the rate of its day, and both amounts are kept on the receipt.

Where do I see what I spent?

Spending shows the month by category against the one before, a bar for each day and the receipts behind it. Switch to last month, the year or your own dates.

In the app:Spending#

A line is in the wrong category

Open the receipt and pick another category for the line. Lines the app was unsure of wait for you on Spending, and a name you correct for a shop is remembered next time.

Seeing the family's spending

In a household, switch Spending from “Mine” to the family: the categories of everyone's shared receipts and a bar a day in a colour per person.

In the app:Spending › Mine / Family#

Where is the same product cheaper?

Products lists everything you buy however each shop prints it. A product shows its price in each shop, and a mark when another of your shops sold it for less recently.

In the app:Products#

A product has a strange name

Tap the pencil beside it and give it your own name. Receipts that print it the old way still land in it.

Watching several products together

Tick them and open Explore: months, totals and prices side by side. Save them as a set to open again; change a set and save the changes into it.

How do I add my salary?

Settings › Regular income: the amount and the day it comes. It counts every month by itself; money that came once is added from +.

In the app:Settings › Regular income#

I pay my own taxes

Turn on “I pay my own taxes” in Settings › Money: a rate on each taxed income and a fixed sum a month if you have one. Home then shows what is yours after taxes.

In the app:Settings › Money#

Rent and other fixed bills

Settings › Regular bills: rent, subscriptions, a loan — set once, taken off every month on their day.

What is the balance on Home?

What is on your accounts now: the amount you entered once, plus income, less purchases and bills since. If it reaches zero, income is probably missing — Home asks.

In the app:Home › Balance#

What goals can I set?

Save for something, spend less on a category, or a habit such as eating out less. The AI checks the goal against what you actually buy and says whether it is doable.

In the app:Plan › Goals#

When do I get advice?

Once there are about 30 days of receipts. Advice names what you actually bought and how much each step would change.

In the app:Plan › a goal#

Sharing a budget with family

Create a household in Settings and send the link. Each person keeps their own receipts; Home and Spending can show the family together.

In the app:Settings › Household#

Keeping a receipt to myself

Mark it private: its money counts in the family's total, but nobody else sees what, where or when.

In the app:Spending › a receipt › Private#

A holiday with its own budget

Plan › Holidays: dates and a budget. Receipts from those days join it, and you see each day and what is left.

In the app:Plan › Holidays#

Business trips

Turn on business trips in Settings › Work trips. A business trip stays out of your budget and gets a per diem and a settlement for your employer as PDF or CSV.

In the app:Settings › Work trips#

How is the per diem counted?

From the departure and return times you enter, by the official daily rates — today those of Poland, at home and abroad; part days by hours, and meals provided reduce it. More countries will follow.

I didn't get the confirmation email

Look in spam, then press “Send again” on the banner. Until the address is confirmed you can look around but not add receipts.

In the app:Home › banner#

I forgot my password

On the sign-in screen press “Forgot your password?” and follow the link in the email.

In the app:Sign in#

Can I put it on my phone's home screen?

Yes: open it in your phone's browser and choose “Add to Home screen”. It then opens like an app.

Downloading my data

Settings › Your data gives one archive with everything you keep here and the photos still kept. Lists on screen can be exported as CSV or JSON.

In the app:Settings › Your data#

Why did a receipt's photo disappear?

Receipt photos are kept 90 days, then deleted; the lines and totals read from them stay.

In the app:Spending › a receipt#

Deleting my account

Settings › Your data › Delete account, with your password. Everything goes for good; download your data first if you may need it.
